At the installation site, there will be stone decking laid under the gate that references the sun and moon cycles. Here I am feeling a little overwhelmed. Wolfie is focused on that evening's run on the beach.

This last circle is, in fact, a sewer access cover. I decide that I will attempt another bit of alchemy : Create a work of art through intention.

The Gate is extremely heavy and requires counterweighting at its hinge.

Which would be fine for 10 years. But I wish that this work last 100 years so I engineer a spring loaded wheel to carry the majority of the downward force and relieve the stones.

The test. It rolls nicely along tops of the turtle shaped stones. I feel the thing breathing.
